Tournament Format
THE FORMAT
REMAINS THE SAME: The
Gold Course format for the first two days will be two best net
balls of the fivesome. The Red Course format for the first two
days will be one best gross plus one best net ball of the
fivesome.
There will be a cut after 36 holes with the low 22 teams and
ties playing the Gold Course on the final day. The third round
format will be one gross, two net best balls.
The remainder of the field, those teams not making the cut, will
play the Red Course in the annual “Wait Till Next Year
Consolation Event.” Teams not making the cut will also play one
best ball gross, two net best balls (scores from round 1 and
round 2 are eliminated for the consolation event).
There will be individual low gross and low net for amateurs
during the first 36 holes of competition and an individual
competition for the professionals during the same 36 holes.
Amateurs will use 85% of their USGA course handicap for team and
individual scoring.
